TCS Go Rallying In Belgium

Those of you who speak to us regularly in the office will know we quite often quote our motorsport background, usually in a child-like, excitable manner. Racing is at heart of the company with its founder having competed (and won) at a professional level, and of course with TCS Micropumps’ origins being in the first thermal cooling system for RC miniature scale racing.

Certainly, we are proud to supply race teams across the globe in a multitude of formulas and race series, which made it all the more exciting to see the TCS Micropumps car perform flawlessly throughout the Belgium-based tarmac rally, famed for its high average speed stages, showing strong pace across all stages and finishing a highly respectable 24th out of 112 finishers. There’s also plenty of data and experience to take away and be applied for the next event.

Wrapped in the stunning new TCS Micropumps turquoise chrome livery (which is fast becoming somewhat of a trademark for the car), the brutal C3 Rally 2 is a 300bhp purpose-built, fully prepared rally weapon direct from the French marque, with exquisite yet robust engineering details visible from any angle. Well, they say 300bhp. Trust us, it feels far more than that, especially with stage mode activated and that anti-lag system! 

What makes the TCS car particularly special is the in-house upgrades in the form of bespoke TCS pumps in applications across the platform, which include gearbox oil and cooling systems.

The bespoke systems on the car utilise TCS’ centrifugal impeller & micro-gear pump technology, which are already proven in the harshest of motorsport applications, and have been put to effective use again here on the mighty C3 Rally 2.

The Monteberg Rally also provided new ideas for innovation too.
